MOUNTAINEERS front man Alex Germains admits his band's career has been back-to-front. The band won a record deal with Mute after they were discovered by Deltasonic svengali Alan Mills, but after spending three years honing their sound in a studio instead of playing live, Alex says the band are "paying their dues".
