DIRECTORIES business Yell looked set for a major expansion yesterday after unveiling a deal worth pounds 2.3bn for a leading publisher in Spain.
The Reading-based company said the addition of TPI represented a "substantial and complementary" extension to its existing operations in the UK and United States. TPI, which publishes 182 directories and distributes more than 36m copies, is up for sale after telecoms group Telefonica said that it wanted to dispose of its 59% stake in the business.See the full content of this document
