Summary
I WAS interested to read the comments by Peter Strachan, managing director of Arriva, regarding the plans for the Arriva Trains Wales network.
The main problem is that most train services in Wales are run to serve England,e. g.Chester to Birmingham,Birmingham to Aberystwyth,London to Swansea, this results in passengers in Wales having to change trains, miss connections or wait for up to an hour. Is there any reason why we cannot have a train service that links our centres of population with a regular service that is integrated with the buses? As Arriva is a joint operator this should not present a problem.See the full content of this document
