THERE are not many finer, more relaxing or picturesque settings in North Wales than the lakeside at Bala - though we are fortunate to have more than a few which rival it - so we can hardly be surprised that the gorgeous 200-year-old Bala Lake Hotel has caught the eye of John Lewis Partnership.
